Easter & Spring Holidays

Easter is a Christian celebration that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus, bringing the Holly Week to an end, which in the West usually falls within the first few weeks of April. For Christians, Easter usually starts with church service, followed by a wholesome brunch or late lunch, making the most of the sunny Spring days.

Eggs are a symbol of rebirth and, therefore, Easter. This is why beautifully decorated eggs, sometimes filled with chocolate and other sweets, are popular symbols for the holiday — eggs lead to fun egg hunts which kids very much enjoy! Did you know empty eggshells symbolize the empty tomb left by Jesus after rising to heaven?
