Christmas & Winter Holidays

Christmas is the most important celebration on the Christian calendar, and it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ every December 25. During Christmas, families get together for a wholesome dinner with a sparkling and beautifully ornamented Christmas tree, under which gifts for everyone await to be torn open.

Although Jesus Christ’s precise birthday is disputed, that doesn’t stop people from enjoying Christmas every year, often decorating their homes and streets months in advance. Every major restaurant, shopping mall and even public places dress up for the occasion, especially enjoyable with cheerful Christmas carols in the background.

The special date comes with its own unique treats, from gingerbread cookies to glazed ham or a roasted bird. Kids can also expect gifts from the mysterious Santa Claus, but the real gift-giving goes on between friends and family — everyone gets something nice on Christmas!
